Projects
My current project is my biggest musical commitment to date! With my new saxophone quartet just starting out this year we have already gigged at RNCM saxophone day, Manchester Jazz festival and in various venues around Manchester. In the coming months, along with the help of my saxophone mentor Rob Buckland we will:
- Record a professional demo CD
- Book dates for our European tour summer 2011
- Bring on board sponsors for travel/instruments
- Raise our UK profile
We have already been approached by Selmer saxophones and offered a tour of the paris factory which will hopefully open discussions to a performance at such a special venue for a saxophonist.
We will also be looking to record a professional CD within the next 12 months after we have found our feet as a musical ensemble! Watch this space and sign up to the newsletter for regular updates on our progress!
